I have been a junior law clerk at Malek Law Firm for the past 6 months. I am currently a senior at Kent State University studying Criminology and Justice with a concentration in Deviance. I plan on graduating with my bachelor’s degree in the Summer of 2022. I was also a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. My future endeavor will soon be law school as I plan to apply to schools within the year.
I am also currently in the Army National Guard working as a Military Intelligence Analyst. Throughout my years with the Army, I have learned many key functions on how to critically analyze situations that present themselves to me.
I have had many incredible opportunities to thrive and learn at Malek Law Firm. I got this internship and job with Malek Law Firm through an interview I had to conduct for my Women in Crime class. I interviewed Attorney Malek and after the interview, I decided to ask if they were hiring. Through many persistent calls to the firm, they finally decided to hire me on! I have learned so much about being a lawyer, how the criminal justice system works, and the hours and hours of dedicated work it takes to satisfy our clients’ needs.
In my personal free time, I like to spend it with family and friends. I have 7 siblings and 13 nieces and nephews! I am also a huge Cleveland sports fan and love to watch the Browns, Cavs, and Indians play. I also enjoy playing competitive sports, like basketball and baseball.
