I am a Law Clerk at Malek Law Firm and I also attend the University of Akron School of Law. I graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Business in August 2020. During my undergrad I took many courses relating to criminal justice. I also attended the PLUS program during my first year of undergrad at the University of Akron School of Law. During this program I got to take courses at the law school and connect with many different people within the legal field. I was also a member of Alpha Phi Fraternity.
I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but moved to Akron to attend school. Since moving to Akron I have a new-found home.
While I am not studying or working at the firm, I enjoy spending time with friends and traveling to new places. I love getting the opportunity to go to new places and explore. I also spend a lot of time relaxing at Geneva on the Lake with my family during the summer.
Since working at Malek Law Firm I have gained a lot of knowledge of how the criminal justice system works. I have learned the functions and operations of the multiple different courts we have handled cases in. Working within the firm I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about criminal law while using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to look at each case closely for our clients. While working at Malek Law Firm I have decided that I want to become a criminal defense attorney. Each day is filled with exciting opportunities to learn new things that will help me be successful in law school and become an attorney in the future.
